We should encourage people to use extensively green energy powered FSD robotaxis (both surface and air taxis) instead of owning cars. This will reduce road congestion, pollution and save time also. This will reduce idle inventory that goes into the manufacturing of excessive vehicles.

By the end of second ten year plan, the cost of transportation by green energy powered surface and air vehicles will get closer due to technological advancements. After some time,when it happens, we will have a situation when traveling cost between two destinations by both surface and air vehicles would be the same.

Advantages of air transportation: Even green energy powered surface vehicles become substantially cheaper, they will add to the woes of road congestion as the surface travel is coplanar. As the flying vehicles are multiplanar, they will only help to decongest the roads. The solution is to go for developing ultra cheap and high speed flying vehicles. High density battery/ hydrogen powered VTOL mid-sized/ small air planes/ drones can be deployed to overcome the problem of congested roads. Air traffic being multi-planar won't need flyovers like road traffic. Autonomously controlled VTOL air vehicles can take the shortest route to reach destination and they can be made to communicate with each other by smart software to avoid collision. This will reduce the spending on road repairs, wear and tear of tyres of road transport vehicles and prevent accidents. Air vehicles can fly over uneven surfaces and hills to reach the destination. Hence, there won't be any need to bore the tunnels through the hills or construct circumventing roads by cutting their sides. This will prevent deaths due to mud or ice slides and preserve the exhilarating scenic beauty and serenity of hills.
